Dominate

Placing viewpoints of one part over the other

Decision that power is both appropriate and available to achieve this goal

Avoid

Choosing not to address the conflict

Not same as denial

It is a strategy of withdrawal or postponement
3.
Compromise

Finding a resolution that satisfies all parties by each giving up something

Seeking concessions and splitting differences
4.
Collaborate

Finding a resolution that satisfies all parties by meeting the concerns of each party

Requires creative problem solving by finding a solution none of the parties originally proposed
