I have condensed Griffith's translation down to 18 strategic concepts.  No one can defend until they know how to OFFEND.

12.
The Art of Using Employees Is This

Situation
Action
Ratio
Definition
10:1
If you have a vast majority
Surround immediately and defeat
5:1
If you have a simple majority
Attack with a control plan to win
2:1
If you have a slight majority
Distract, Divide, Dominate
1:1
Equal
Prove yourself
Weaker in One
Plan a Retreat
Weaker in All
Elude the enemy

13.
Three Ways to Ruin Your Organization

When ignorant you should advance, to not advance;
or ignorant to withdraw, to not withdraw

When ignorant of strategy, to participate with strategy.

When ignorant of command problems, to share command.

14.
Confusion Results in Defeat

Confusion
Suspicion
Unknown Enemy

Best Defense:  Have CLEAR Objectives!

Easy to discover if the employees share your objectives:  go into the employee pool and ask them if they know where you want to be in 5 years, or 10.  Can they tell you?  If not, they do not know, or they do not share, the goals of the organization.

15.
Five Predictions for Victory

1. Know when to fight and when not to fight
2.
Understand how to use both large and small forces
3.
Ranks are united
4.
Prudent and lies in wait for the enemy who is not prudent and waiting
5.
Generals are able and not interfered with by the King

16.
To Not Be in Peril

Know the Enemy

Know yourself

17 & 18.
Your Chances of Winning

If you are ignorant of the enemy, but know yourself, your chances of winning are equal
EQUAL is for fools
If you are ignorant of both your enemy and yourself, you are in peril in every battle Defeat is certain
